Michelle Obama chooses Marbella September 10, 2010

This summer First Lady Michelle Obama chose the Costa del Sol for her summer vacation and put Marbella right back on the map.

She stayed at the Villa Padierna Hotel in Los Flamingos and enjoyed the Marbella life style.  Michelle Obama and her daughter Sacha visited the Alhambra in Granada, went shopping in the Old town of Marbella and spent the day sight seeing in Ronda.  Since her visit to Marbella the Property market on the Costa del Sol has started to boom.  People have once again realised that Marbella is the number 1 holiday destination.  Golf, Restaurants, beaches and a wonderful climate is the recipe for people living on the Costa del Sol.

Indian Rupee rises against the USD May 8, 2009

The Indian rupee appreciated by 24 paise against the US dollar in early trade today on increased capital inflows by foreign funds in the domestic bourses.

At the Foreign Exchange market, the domestic unit was quoted lower at 49.38, up 24 paise from its previous close of 49.61/62. Forex dealers said fresh capital inflows in the domestic markets and the dollar weakening against other currencies, supported the rise in the rupee.
